On Saturday, the prime minister announced she was to hold talks in Washington with President Donald Trump, “just as I have with many leaders”.
In an interview with German newspaper Der Spiegel published on Saturday, she said North Korea had “more powerful and sophisticated” nuclear weapons than previous tests in 2006, 2008 and 2012, and that it might not hesitate to attack the UK.

Meanwhile, the UK government has been hit by a damaging cyberattack, including the theft of the personal data of 1.4m people.
It appears to have targeted the computer systems of the Department for International Development.
The government says it will not stop people from receiving government support, adding that it does not control who receives it or whether there is any other risk, such as financial support.
But its spokesman said it had “not taken advantage of a free pass”.
There is also an investigation into how computer systems were hacked, in addition to a broader forensic examination, the MoD said in a statement.
