Sa govt backs dpp decision to drop rape case against Namboodiripad

New Delhi: While Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not comment on a decision of a special court in New Delhi on November 18 to drop a rape case agai구리출장샵nst an accused, the ruling is unlikely to do much to further anger the accused, a senior official said on Monday.

The decision of the apex high court on November 16 to drop a case filed against former Supreme Court judge Namboodiripad is unlikely to have a significant effect on the accused in the matter, the official said.

“The Supreme Court of India is likely to stay this (decision)… because there are doubts among the accused about the legitimacy of it, especially as the trial court and the 속초안마lower courts had both said that it was an abuse of power. “They would like to leave it up for judges to come and decide, but they can’t do it. They (pro-bono counsels) are going to wait till the end of this month (with the rape case). We hope they’ll decide to do something in due course,” said Ashok Narayanan, an advocate of the accused, who is the acting secretary to the apex court.
