Sa councillor wants legal driving age lifted to 17 after ‘horrible’ crash
Pam Fryar was last night pictured walking through the streets of Stirling, with a smile on her face as she celebrated having completed a challenge to become a legally blind councillor.
The 29-year-old councillor from the Perth-raised city was joined by other campaigners last night as they walked through the city’s bustling inner suburb of Broughton Town, the suburb with the highest rate of blindness in Australia.
She has since pledged to push for a legally blind council.
Pam Fryar and other campaigners of a legally blind person have gathered in Broughton Town to congratulate each other after completing the challenge for a legally blind council of a councillor aged 17-18, on Monday. Picture: Steve McConville
Pam, who had previously refused to become a legally blind candidate an해운대출장마사지d has spoken of a ‘life changing moment’ since becoming legally blind, has since become a candidate for a council seat at the Melbourne town council, after being elected as a councillor.
“It’s like walking through the streets of my town. It’s a pretty big milestone,” she said.
“Now that we have finally done it, I’ve given that challenge to every citizen in the area.
“This has been a dream of mine for about a year and a half and I hope they’ll make the commitment to help us get this seat.”
She said the campaign had started early last year and by this stage all of the candidates had been nominated to take the vote, with one being selected as the candidate that day.
“After that I thought about what we want to achieve and I think that everyone should make an open mind because it’s g김천출장안마oing to take some time to go by so don’t get cocky or complacent, this is an uphill task but I’m confident we’re going to do it. We think it’s something that will help me put this challenge to a legal council.”
She continued: “There오바마 카지노‘s probably an old saying that says if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, and we think it’s great for the community that it’s done.
“We’re still just at that stage of the process but we’re going to get there and that’s where our hopes are.”
Ralf to skip hungarian grand prix because of engine failure
“We are not ready to give in because the performance of the engine at the moment, the first three days with some of the cars we have, are not good and we want to keep this as we know how to do so.”
Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are fighting for eighth, but they’re not without their challenges.
“There are always problems. I think we have been on the edge for every year so I am not surprised by this. Today was probably not optimal conditions to try and get some pace. And then once we get back to qualifying wit해운대출장마사지h the cars as we have been, of course it will be better.”
And Williams drivers Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas, both of whom are under pressure at the moment in the points, are the only drivers to have scored one point in each of the four races.
Bottas said there were issues with engine cooling and fuel consumption at the Hungaroring and was disappointed with his team’s response.
“I was disappointed with both at the Hungaroring,” Bottas said.
“The engine i파라오 카지노s very good, but not the same as I would like it to be.
“We can keep working on the aerodynamic problems and we have some good tyres around now, which are also available, but in these condition전립선s I am not sure if we can be fast on them.”

Williams has two additional drivers on the grid for the race.
Daniel Ricciardo is one of eight drivers to have scored points in each of the four races, having helped lead the line from Hamilton’s Mercedes.
Hamilton, with Williams at the front as it tries to put itself in a position to win the championship, had a very good weekend and put his team back into contention for victory in Hungary, but Ricciardo’s Ferrari is much closer to his level.

Queensland government will deliver on fishing for coal.
The Government has secured $40 million to finance the removal of thousands of square metres of sediment and the relocation007카지노 of some 400,000 cubic metres of coal.
It will be up to regional councils to decide whether to follow Queensland’s lead, but regional officials believe they should do their bit to protect some of the state’s biggest fish, including sturgeon.
The move comes after a federal decision which will see an estimated $2 million be spent to remove the estimated 300 000 litres of coal from the Great Barrier Reef, with some 300 tonnes of coal also being dredged in the Torres Strait.
Local councils will decide if they want to keep the coal and its effects.
Federal Environment Minister Greg Hunt said the Government’s action would provide jobs and improve local and regional communities.
“It will provide economic cert더킹 카지노ainty and will allow us to achieve better outcomes for Queenslanders by protecting the environment and minimising the potential damage to the local area,” he said.
“The Queensland Government takes its commitments to the environment very seriously and these investments will ultimately protect the Great Barrier Reef and ensure the environment and jobs are not lost on this iconic marine site.”
Mr Hunt said he hoped to announce the final project costs before Christmas.
Labor’s environment spokesman Ian Macdonald said the coal move would devastate many fish and their habitats.
“It’s a recipe for disaster in the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s second largest,” he said.
“We have a huge issue with coal mining in Queensland and I think it is clear that this will have serious effects on the fish and reef.”
Mr Macdonald said the decision could lead to more coal mining.
“One out of every 12 tonnes of the coal they are going to send south is going to go south with the huge impact on the Great Barrier Reef,” he said.
“We’re a small and small market in terms of the coal industry. There is no other Queensland industry that has the size and scale of the coal industry.”
He said the Government should consult with stakeholders such as the Queensland Biodiversity Council to decide the long-term impact to biodiversity and other fish species.
“The question you are now asking is a question of conscience because if it is to protect the Great Barrier Reef, and the Great Barrier Reef depends on it, then you have got to protect all the species in the area and not just the bi바카라 사이트ggest fish,” he said.

Action group appeals against biomass power plant tariff action
By Andrew Walker and Alan Mackenzie
3 March 2015
The “Save the Amazon” campaign (SOTA) filed a petition with the State Court of Appeal (SCA) in Costa Rica to block the recent state power tariffs passed by a Costa Rican legislature. The tariff, which is scheduled to go into effect this week, caps the amount of wood pulp that an electricity company can charge Amazon customers. It is the latest in a series of similar state power tariffs introduced in the past decade that have restricted domestic power production and sharply increased the price consumers must pay for electricity.
The SOTA petition argues that the carbon taxes introduced under Costa Rica’s new Constitution violate international law. These include the Kyoto Protocol, which commits countries to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The p에볼루션 카지노etition also seeks an injunction to stop the installation of the wind farm at Amazon’s new Lago Agrias site, which produces 1.8 million tons of carbon dioxide a year, equivalent to an additional 30 million tons a year.
The petition was filed just days after the SOTA sent a statement to the International Energy Agency urging o제천출장마사지 제천안마ther nations to enact similar measures. It called the current legal uncertainty “a recipe for chaos for the developing world,” and highlighted the o용인출장안마대전 출장 안마ngoing uncertainty over how the EU energy policies would work if they were adopted by other nations in the future.
The SOTA has repeatedly called on international governments to support domestic renewable energy targets, including the European Union’s Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), because it will save large amounts of money in costs for countries at the moment. The European Union set up the ETS through its Green Budget Initiative in 2009. The ETS will help nations in their transition to renewable energy in many cases. It is expected to cost approximately EUR 2.1 trillion over the next 30 years. But the SOTA argues that the ETS is not an effective tool because it is difficult for governments to predict when and how energy prices will fall, and that the energy market is currently too complex for governments to properly manage the flow of carbon emissions.
The SOTA argues that the ETS has also not been able to produce stable price signals. “SOTA is against the implementation of the ETS so that the ETS could be implemented quickly and without interference from external parties,” the petition says. Costa Rican officials, in support of the tariffs, did not respond to questions about the SOTA’s arguments against the ETS, even though Costa Rica plans to introduce a bill of its own t
Pressure grows on south korean government over THAAD system deployment

North Korean officials said on Wednesday that the country has put on hold an official trip scheduled for early next week to China, amid ongoing discussions with South Korea and the United States over its development of a nuclear-capable ICBM.
Kim Jong Un, the North’s top leader, has called for peace with the United States and South Korea, saying the two sides should unite to fight U.S.-led U.N. sanctions on the North.
The meeting, scheduled for July 14, is the third and final stop on a five-day Chinese tour for Kim, who is due to fly to Russia July 26.
On Tuesday, North Korea accused South Korea of seeking to interfere in the country’s internal affairs over the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, or THAAD, a United States defense system on the border with the North.
South Korea had initially backed the deployment, saying it was aimed at preventing North Korean missiles from reaching its territory and that the country had the right to defend itself if threatened.
China, however, said the U.S. missile system was not aimed at attacking North Korea but was for self-defense against a conventional attack.
It was not immediately clear whether the North was threatening to withdraw from South Korea for co진주출장샵nsultations in Beijing next week.
The North is still locked in a fo천안출장마사지ur-year standoff with Washington over its nuclear weapons program that has left at least 11 dead and caused tens of thousands to flee to South Korea and Japan.
North Korea’s first nuclear test in 2006 provoked an international economic crisis and triggered fresh sanctions, which the North has often parried by saying it will always abide by the U.N. sanctions.

California fires have forced 50000 from homes. Many, though, are simply waiting for homes to be returned to normal. But that won’t happen. That’s because while the Federal Emergency Management Agency says “every house has a right to be habitable,” that right is limited to 10 percent of a house and “for safety reasons” it doesn’t apply to schools.
The lack of housing options means that many homeless people are stuck in empty homes or in cars parked outside a building, not even knowing they are there. Many are forced to sleep outside, because even if they didn’t like their conditions, the streets are filthy. There is no way for homeless people in San Juan to obtain safe and secure housing.
The worst part of the crisis, for what most observers consider a “last chance,” is that it is just becoming evident that there is no way out of the situation, and most people will need to live underground. On Wednesday night, local news sources reported a woman living inside her own home with other homeless people in her basement, not even knowing that she was there. This incident highlights what is already happening to residents of Puerto Rico. On Sunday, after a monthlong period of uncertainty, the governor of Puerto Rico declared a S온 카지노tate of Emergency, with emergency funding announced for emergency relief and support for emergency shelters, shelters for homeless adults and minors, and a 라이브카지노shelter for disabled veterans. It also created a new entity, the “National Housing Authority of Puerto Rico.” This organization has announced plans to construct 500 homeless shelters, and this week it will build at least 400. Most of these shelters will house individuals in the housing crisis, many of whom are unable to블랙 잭 find work, and these shelters will operate without a roof over their heads, and with limited resources.
