The yearly Renaissance Festival’s fanciful realm of jousters, jesters and jokesters is well underway.
But its longtime activity manager is maybe perhaps not going to.
Carr Hagerman, whom made a short court appearance Thursday early morning, is dealing with unlawful intimate misconduct fees alleging he raped a freelance photographer on event grounds in Shakopee this past year. Their next hearing is planned for Oct. 11.
Hagerman, 60, whom struggled to obtain the event for four years, has rejected the fees.
Those fees and case initiated by two feminine employees that are former eight other ladies in the future ahead to MPR Information to recount whatever they stated had been many years of punishment and harassment once they worked in the event, now in its 47th 12 months.
Some also allege the event’s administration did inadequate to assist.
“Through the top down, they don’t really believe females, ” stated Megan Culverhouse, whom worked during the event for ten years. Read More →
