Closeted/Out into the Quadrangles: a brief history of LGBTQ lifestyle in the University of Chicago

In 2011, the guts for the analysis of Gender and Sexuality launched Closeted/Out in the Quadrangles, a task documenting lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgendered, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) life during the University of Chicago through the very very early 20th century through the current. In Spring 2015, the task culminated within an event when you look at the Special Collections Research Center at Regenstein Library and a permanent dental history archive that are accessed by generations to come of scientists and community members.
