This policy places limitations on consensual romantic or sexual relationships between and among faculty, staff, and students in order to protect the integrity of the academic and work environment. Whenever people are involved with a consensual intimate or intimate relationship and have been in jobs of unequal authority or energy, you have the possibility a conflict of great interest, favoritism, and exploitation of energy. You aren’t supervisory authority or evaluative, mentoring authority who controls or influences someone else’s work, scholastic development, extracurricular or athletic group involvement, scholarship or economic support, grades, suggestions, wage status, or advertising during the university really should not be in an enchanting or intimate relationship with this person no matter consent.
