A Queensland man who set off a plane and jumped off a plane during a routine landing in Brisbane has been fined $100.

He jumped out of the sky and smashed into a taxi cab driven by a passenger.

He then got into a taxi with the passengers and the two drove home together.

It is alleged the passenger told Ms O’Leary he was going back to Brisbane in order to visit her family.

She told police she was shocked that someone would break their safety rules.

She was also interviewed by officers who seized his flight certificate and was asked to supply an address.
